Bourbon Barrel-Aged Beers Galore!
Early 2023, we had bourbon barrels from local distillery Doc Swinson’s delivered to the brewery. We filled these barrels with our Imperial Oatmeal Stout, Cabin Fever, and Baltic Porter and aged them for the following 10 months! Some barrels were left as is, and others we infused with yummy flavors to create our bourbon barrel-aged beer series!
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Series
BBA Imperial Oatmeal Stout
9.9% ABV | 30 IBU
We aged our big, bold Stout in locally sourced bourbon barrels from Doc Swinson’s. Notes of molasses and oak blend into a smooth, velvety finish.
BBA Imperial Breakfast Stout
9.9% ABV | 30 IBU
We infused our bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Oatmeal Stout with locally sourced cold brew from COF&. Aromas of fresh ground coffee blend with oaky and roasty notes resulting in a jolting complexity.
BBA Cabin Fever
11.4% ABV | 32 IBU
This bourbon barrel-aged Cabin Fever was aged in locally sourced barrels from Doc Swinson’s. Aromas of toffee and plum blend with boozy and oaky notes resulting in a complex and smooth finish. We have bottles of 2022 & 2023 BBA Cabin Fever available at the brewery!

BBA Holiday Spiced Cabin Fever
11.4% ABV | 32 IBU
We spiked our bourbon barrel-aged Cabin Fever with a holiday spice blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, clove, and ginger.

BBA Bananas Foster Cabin Fever
11.4% ABV
Fever, in Doc Swinson’s bourbon barrels for 11 months, and spiked with natural flavors of banana and brown sugar.

BBA Old Bounder Barleywine
15% ABV | 100+ IBU
Old Bounder, an homage to yeseteryear’s ales, is an intense, barrel-aged barleywine. BBA Port of Call Baltic Porter
10.1% ABV | 27 IBU
BBA Port of Call embarked on a 10-month journey in Doc Swinson’s bourbon barrels, infusing its dark chocolate depth with a boozy, oaky essence and subtle cherry undertones.

BBA Coconut Cacao Vanilla Port of Call Baltic Porter
10.1% ABV
Coconut Cacao Vanilla Port of Call is a limited-release Baltic Porter that we aged for 10 months in bourbon barrels and infused with vanilla, cacao nibs, and toasted coconut.
