There are many different beer awards every year, but the Washington-based ones are our favorites! Being able to cheer on all of our neighbors and support local craft beer is what the beer industry is all about!
Bellingham breweries won big at this year’s Washington Beer Awards with the following breweries taking home medals: Kulshan, Stemma, El Suenito, Aslan, Wander, and Boundary Bay, of course!
Our Winning Beers
This year we had two Gold medal-winning beers at the Washington Beer Awards: Enchanted Frontier & Sticky Trees.
Sticky Trees
Sticky Trees IPA won Gold in the Experimental India Pale Ales category. Sticky Trees is a mind melding IPA collaboration with The North Fork Brewery.
Enchanted Frontier Cold IPA
Enchanted Frontier Cold IPA won gold in the American-Style India Pale Lagers category. Enchanted Frontier’s crispy directive is derived from the use of Lager yeast and fermentation-style, while its dense hop flavor warps from an intrepid dosing of Cryo Mosaic hops.

Enchanted Frontier Cold IPA & Sticky Trees are both limited releases, but they’ll be back soon! Enchanted Frontier Cold IPA should be available in January 2024, but you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for when Sticky Trees makes its return to our taps!
