Boundary Bay December Beer Releases

There’s no place like Boundary for the holidays! Beyond the coziness of our Taproom and Bistro, we’ve got December Beer Releases to sink your tastebuds into.

1. Aura of Vitality Pale Ale

5.9% ABV | 40 IBU | 5 SRM | 13.4°P OG

Aura of Vitality’s campaign commences with the profuse usage of Idaho 7 and Cashmere LUPOMAX® hops that are balanced by a classic American-style pale ale malt bill. Radiating aromas of pine, strawberry, and pineapple encircle the palate while its moderate bitterness delves into a balanced, super clean finish. Aura of Vitality’s hop-forward character and pure drinkability rolls toward a straightforward quest completion.

2. Batch 8000: Big N’ Hazy

7.4% ABV | 37 IBU | 4 SRM | 17.4°P OG

Batch 8000: Big N’ Hazy commemorates our eight-thousandth brew on Railroad Avenue. As we raise our thirty-two-millionth pint* our attention is incited by a deeply hazy orange hue and a waft of irresistible aromas. Hallertau Blanc, Citra and Amarillo hops and a simple Imperial Hazy malt bill craft a brunch-load of flavors, noticeably freshly-squeezed mimosas, light scone-like sweetness, orange and white grape. This Imperial Hazy IPA’s low bitterness and malty sweetness blend into a moderately creamy, slightly extravagant finish, perfect for a toast to the next thousand batches. *estimate based on 16-barrel batch size

3. Old Bounder

9.7% ABV | 100+ IBU | 22.3°P OG

A fisherman of yore, Old Bounder, sought strong ales with a vestige of the past. Upon discovering American barleywine, a goblet was required straightaway. Old Bounder barleywine is a rich, full-bodied beer with smooth caramel sweetness and bold hop character. The warming-alcohol content is exceptional for an after-dinner beverage or dessert pairing. Old Bounder is crafted for those who voyage for the finer things.
