A Not So Subdued St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
Bellingham is the city of Subdued Excitement, but our St. Patrick’s Day celebrations were anything but subdued! From an amazing parade and afterparty to a day full of live music and Irish step dancing on St. Patrick’s Day proper, we have so many great photos from our St. Pat’s celebrations that we want to share! Here’s a collection of our favorites.
Saturday, March 11th
Bellingham St. Patrick’s Day Parade
We had so much fun with our float in the 13th annual Bellingham St. Patrick’s Day Parade! We were joined by friends, family, and even Dinger, the mascot of the Bellingham Bells! So many friends and community members flocked to the streets of downtown Bellingham to see all the floats and local organizations that were in it!
Boundary Bay Parade Afterparty
After the parade, we hosted a party at the brewery! We had live music and dancing in both the taproom and beer garden, the first public event in the beer garden this year! It was amazing to see how many people of all ages joined us in the festivities! Happy Tails Happy Homes Rescue had a booth, and brought so many adorable and adoptable dogs to the party! Music by the wonderful Rosin & Reed, The Moving Hats, Flattery, Pipes & Drums Band, and Lindsay Street!
Friday, March 17th
St. Patrick’s Day
On St. Patrick’s Day proper, we threw an all-day celebration at the brewery! With Irish Step Dancers and many local bands, there was entertainment for every guest who joined us! We opened the beer garden again in the evening for a show by Robert Sarazin Blake & The Dublin Letters. Music from Rosin & Reed, The Devillies, Lindsay Street, The Moving Hats and Maguire’s Kick.
