The New Beers Entering the Taproom This January

While some of us strictly order our known favorites, others are more adventurous and live for trying new brews. We’ve got so many new beers coming to the taproom. From classic Boundary Bay flavors to exciting new options, there’s something for everyone to try!

1. Sticky Trees West-Coast IPA

6.5% ABV | 50 IBU | 4 SRM | 16°P OG

Sticky Trees is a mind melding West Coast IPA collaboration between The North Fork Brewery and Boundary Bay Brewing Co.

Named after one of our mutually loved  first-runs at the Mt. Baker Ski area, this crystal clear IPA shreds  was brewed with spruce tips and hopped with Simcoe, Columbus and Idaho 7 hops. Dank aromas of resin, pine and stonefruit carve through its juicy flavors, moderate bitterness and a touch of stickiness finally stomping the landing with smooth, crispy turn between the pines.

2. Midnight Rain Stout

5.9% ABV | 38 IBU | 38 SRM | 14.8°P OG

Midnight Rain is an American-style Stout that peers through the glass with a brilliant black hue. Midnight Rain’s robust aromas of dark chocolate, espresso, and light caramel unravel into a moderate bitterness and light malty sweetness with a distinctly affable, dry finish.

3. Helles Lager

4.9% ABV | 18 IBU | SRM 4.2 | OG 11.5

The Helles Lager is a beautifully light brew, with a strong backbone, balancing a pleasant malt sweetness & body with floral Hallertau hops and restrained bitterness. The Helles Lager is refreshingly subtle and drinkable.

While not currently available at the brewery, Helles Lager will be on draft in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.

4. Lunar Estates Hazy IPA

6.3% ABV | 32 IBU | 4 SRM | 16.1°P OG

This luscious Hazy IPA blasts off with Hallertau Blanc, Nelson Sauvin and Cryo Citra hops. Orbiting the palate with dank tropical properties, Lunar Estates lands with aromas of citrus, passionfruit, mango, and gooseberry.

5. Present Tense ESB

5.4% ABV | 35 IBU | 7 SRM | 13.8°P OG

Present Tense is an ESB devoted to the celebration or our coworker Mike and his Pearl Jam Poster Gallery. Over the years, Mike has been to over 35 Pearl Jam concerts across 10 states - his collection of Pearl Jam memorabilia will be available for viewing in our Bistro’s gallery for a limited time. Present Tense ESB"‘s intricate malt character and medium bitterness evenly flows into a smooth and extra clean finish. Hail hail, it doesn’t get Eddie Vedder than this.

The can art for Present Tense ESB is inspired by Mike’s favorite Pearl Jam album: No Code.
