The Beer: Multiplayer Cold IPA, a collaboration with Gruff Brewing Co. for the Washington Brewers Guild, is a super combo of the hop-forward character of an IPA and the ultra-crispiness of a lager. This button-mashing Cold IPAā€™s bursting tropical aromas of coconut, mango and peach are crafted from El Dorado hops and a special blend from Yakima Chief Hops called Cryo Pop. Multiplayer Cold IPAā€™s moderate-to-pronounced bitterness levels up with a super crisp and clean finish. This limited release wonā€™t lag, get it before itā€™s game over!

About the Collab
In the spirit of the WA brewing community, brewers from across the state have come together to produce Multiplayer Guild Collab, an IPA benefiting the WA Brewers Guild.

We brewed this Cold IPA with Gruff Brewing Company in reflection of a connected and collaborative industry, and to celebrate the WA beer lovers that help us take our craft to the next level.

Our owner, Ed Bennett, was part of the foundation of the Washington Brewers Guild back in 1999. What started as a few breweries chatting over pints has evolved into an instrumental part of our industry in Washington State.

ā€œI am very proud of the work we all did to establish the Washington Brewers Guild,ā€ says Ed Bennett, Owner of Boundary Bay Brewing Company. ā€œTo see how far itā€™s come and the major impact that this organization continues to have for Washington craft beer is pretty special.ā€

Bennett served as the volunteer Treasurer during the WBGā€™s first couple decades, finally hanging up the calculator in the late 2010s.

ā€œItā€™s very important to continue to support the Guild,ā€ says Bennett. ā€œFrom legislation to community building to fostering diversity and collaboration, WBG plays an integral part in the growth of our stateā€™s craft brewing industry.ā€
