Winter Warmers: Releases New and Old Are Coming To Boundary Bay
While it’s not technically Winter yet, Bellingham has skipped the normal gradual cooling of fall and gone straight to freezing temperatures and frosted lawns. It’s encouraged us to turn on our fireplaces much sooner than expected, and with it, the desire to be bundled up with drinks that embody the cozy season. Over the next few weeks, a range of new releases and old favorites will be available for your enjoyment. Snuggle up with the much anticipated Hooked On Hazy IPA, Sink the Boat! IPA, Lightner Lager, Cabin Fever, Pilsner, Old Bounder, Aura of Vitality Pale Ale, and Batch 8000: Big N’ Hazy.
So, whether you prefer light, hazy, and hoppy, or smooth, dark, and malty, we’ve got you covered with our complete November & December lineup.
1. Hooked On Hazy IPA
Hooked On Hazy IPA casts off with copious amounts of El Dorado, Amarillo and Lemondrop hops that creates a strong foundation of tropical aromas. Hooked On drifts through the senses finally sinking in with bright flavors of pineapple, pear, watermelon and citrus. This Hazy IPA’s low-to-moderate bitterness and balanced sweetness reels into a smooth and creamy finish.
2. Sink the Boat IPA
Sink the Boat IPA is a tribute to one of our brewer’s sunken canoe experiences at our annual staff camping trip. Sink the Boat (STB) is overloaded with Zappa, Amarillo, Cascade and Centennial hops that create a unique wave of pineapple, melon and pine aromas. This IPA’s pronounced, resinous bitterness sails with a slight malty sweetness into a super clean finish that won’t capsize your pint glass.
3. Lightner Lager
Lightner Lager is a classic American-Style Light Lager brewed to celebrate the life of Craig Lightner, a Navy Veteran and our General Manager’s Father. He was a man who took joy in the blessings of everyday life and rooted himself in love of family - he and his “pretty wife,” Corrine, were married for nearly seven decades. Lightner Lager embodies passion and adoration for the craft industry. This super bright light lager’s simple malt bill and prodigious attention-to-detail creates an easy-drinking and crispy finish. We raise this can to honor a true inspiration and hero for love and peace.

Olde Bounder barleywine is a rich, full-bodied beer with smooth caramel sweetness and bold hop character. The warming-alcohol content is exceptional for an after-dinner beverage or dessert pairing. Old Bounder is crafted for those who voyage for the finer things. Available on tap and by the bottle Thursday, December 1st.
